Employee Journey - Adrian McGoldrick

Adrian McGoldrick is the National Contracts Manager for Nuspan Flooring. Having worked in the construction industry since the ripe age of 16, Adrian worked in all aspects of joinery – from roofing to large hotel fit outs.

Adrian left Ireland and joined the Nuspan production line in November 2014. His dedication and talent within the business shone through and was quickly promoted to head of department, ensuring our great product was delivered to happy customers on time and adhering to the highest quality standards. To continue to support the growing business, Adrian moved over to managing the installation teams and then to the position of National Contracts Manager.

Adrian’s role as it is today, is to oversee all live works on site and developing the installation process of our precast, insulated floor units to site with both traditional and MMC sub and superstructures. No two days are the same as the role encompasses managing our expert teams of installers, completing risk assessments and lift plans. Not only this, Adrian also seamlessly manages our rapidly growing list of supply only contracts! Many a day can be spent on site (in all conditions – our product can be installed regardless of our Great British weather!) demonstrating to ground workers how to install our product and acting as point of contact for any queries. Maintaining great working relationship with clients is essential – luckily Adrian is full of that Irish charm!

What Adrian believes makes his job great is meeting new people and travelling all over the country to our array of active sites. With each day presenting different opportunities and the many obstacles that our business can overcome – as well as working with an equally dedicated bunch of colleagues – make his position equally challenging and rewarding.

When asked what he believes the future holds for Nuspan, he stated 'Sheer growth! Further establishing ourselves as the leading supplier of offsite, precast, insulated floor units and continuing to provide our wonderful customers with an excellent product. What started off as a relatively small business eight years ago has seen significant growth, learning and development. With potential future factory developments, I can only see a bright future for Nuspan – and I am incredibly proud to be part of that.''
